Dr. Drew Collins is a licensed naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist with over 30 years experience in naturopathic and oriental medicine. His interest in herbology and organic gardening and his undergraduate degree in biology (University of Oregon) led him to pursue the practice of naturopathic and alternative medicine. An anti-aging specialist, Dr. Collins passionately pursues anti-aging breakthroughs from around the world.
Dr. Collins received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine (N.D.) from Bastyr University in 1984. He interned with Dr. James D’Adamo, and classmate Dr. Peter D’Adamo, author of Eat Right For Your Blood Type at the Institute for the Advancement of Natural Therapies. He has post doctorate training in Classical Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy and extensive training from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Herbology, under the direction of Dr. Jim Chan and Dr. Jake Fratkin. He is also proficient in European Biological Medicine practices.
Dr. Collins is board qualified in California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona by the National Naturopathic Medical Licensing Board. Prior to coming to California, Dr. Collins was named Arizona Naturopathic Physician of the Year. While practicing in Arizona he served on the board of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association. He is published in The Textbook of Natural Medicine, Alternative Medicine and Sports Medicine of the Lower Extremity.
With his love for all things outdoors, Dr. Collins and his family enjoy outdoor activities from the sea to the mountains. He also enjoys drawing and painting, travel, racing pigeons and a great sense of humor.
