Dr. Howe San Diego Clinic of Integrative Medicine

David A. Howe, M.D., D.C., M.B.A., CNC.

In 1998, Dr. Howe joined and took over the ownership of the San Diego Clinic of Preventive Medicine, from William J. Saccoman, M.D., who was an early pioneer in alternative medicine and had started the clinic in the early 1970’s. Dr. Howe has been 39 years in the medical field as both a chiropractor and medical doctor, specializing in biomechanical structural problems. Dr. Howe is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Pain Management and Sclerotherapy where he received his training in prolotherapy, a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), and a member of the American Board of Chelation Therapy (ABCT).

Dr. Howe has extensive training in clinical nutrition and incorporates this knowledge in his pain relief rehabilitation and recovery philosophy. Dr. Howe advocates the natural approach to health and develops an overall plan for each patient.

Dr. Howe was originally from Minnesota before relocating to San Diego in 1986. He is one of eight children of an extraordinary man who established missions in Canada, Belize, and the Philippines and it is probably because of this upbringing that set Dr. Howe on the course of helping the community through medical care.
